THE QUEEN IS DEAD
THREE NIGHTS ONLY! MAY 1ST- MAY 3RD

LE CLUB THEATRE AT SHOW WORLD 303 WEST 42ND STREET; TICKETS $15
NEW YORK- Billed as the funniest play ever written, Pete McCabe's The Queen is Dead opens on May 1st and runs May 2nd & May 3rd at 7:30PM at Le Club at Show World located on 303 West 42nd Street. The Queen is Dead is an insane, hyper-hip comedy concerning asinine tyrants. Featuring Pop Singer Nina Helman (Cake Like) and a cast of downtown theater veteran All-Stars. Familiar to Hal Hartley fans Chuck Montgomery (Amatuer) is joined by Paul Urcioli, Scott Garret and Pete McCabe (Gratuitous Theater and Violence). Following the scheming of four impossibly stupid characters as they clumsily grab for power, the play crafts an intertwining web of music, sex, murder and intrigue. Performed by comedy veterans whose talents have appeared in some of New York City's finest late night serials and Underground Soaps such as Valley of the Dolls, Spyz, Laguna Beach, live musical accompaniment is provided by Classical pianist and Punk Rock Singer Hannah Reimann. Find out why each believes themselves to be the murderer of the Queen, while their ineptitude plunges their country deeper into war. The Le Club Theatre at Show World is located 303 West 42nd Street. Performances run Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm. Three performances only! Tickets cost $15 and are available at the door. Press please contact Devon Mack via email at mack@workhousepr.com
