THE PLAY WHAT I WROTE
DIRECTED BY KENNETH BRANAGH AT BROADWAY'S LYCEUM THEATRE

NEW YORK- The Orpheum Circuit (David Pugh, Joan Cullman, Mike Nichols, Hamilton South, Charles Whitehead, Stuart Thompson) present a Nichols & Pugh production of The Play What I Wrote by Hamish McColl, Sean Foley and Eddie Braben, directed by Kenneth Branagh at the Lyceum Theatre located at 149 West 45 Street. Winner of the 2002 Olivier Award, The Play What I Wrote is a play which revolves around Hamish, who no longer wants to be part of his comedy double act with Sean. Instead he wants to see the play that he has written, A Tight Squeeze for the Scarlet Pimple, properly mounted on the Broadway stage. But before this can happen he needs a major star to play the supporting role to his lead role. The Play What I Wrote stars Sean Foley, Hamish McColl and Toby Jones (Olivier Award winner for this performance) and a surprise celebrity guest star. A revolving door of guest stars will appear in The Play What I Wrote. In London, during two sold-out nine-month engagements at The Wyndham's Theatre, Ralph Fiennes, Sir Ian McKellen, Roger Moore, Jerry Hall, Sting and Ewan McGregor were a few of the lucky notables who earned a featured spot in the West End's hottest ticket. The identity of the surprise celebrity guests for the New York engagement will be a tightly guarded secret. Lyceum Theatre located at 149 West 45 Street. Performances run Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday & Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday's at 3pm. Tickets are available through Telecharge (212) 239. 6200 or www.telecharge.com.
