USA - Workhouse Publicity, an award-winning public relations firm, announced today that it has been selected by the premium-contemporary jean brand Union, as the Agency of Record for U.S. marketing and domestic publicity. Workhouse Publicity will develop an integrated promotional strategy that synchronizes communication efforts both nationally and locally. As part of a larger company initiative, Workhouse will develop creative brand messaging across all media channels to ensure consistency. The assignment is effective immediately.

Union, headquartered in Seattle, and wholly owned by Seattle Pacific Industries, also announced that they have appointed award-winning designer Christopher Enuke as the new Union Creative Director for both the Men’s and Women’s collections. Enuke, who founded the exquisite Oliver Twist/Oligo Tissew collection, brings over 20 years of design experience. He is regarded as one of today's most respected and influential designers coming out of Los Angeles. As Creative Director, Enuke will serve as the creative voice of Union, including global product design and fashion events. Enuke’s first collection for Union is slated to debut at the Fall 2007 Project Show in Las Vegas in February 2007. Union is sold worldwide at select high-end department stores and specialty boutiques such as Fred Segal-Ron Herman, Kitson, Henri Bendel, Atrium, E-Street Denim and at Nordstrom in their heralded Savvy department.
Giving denim the couture treatment, a multi-cultural background fuels the artistry of this Nigerian born, English educated, Los Angeles based designer. The influence of his Nigerian heritage shows itself not only the in the shape and play of his designs but also in the decorative inspirations of his work. A penchant for English eccentricity is balanced by a genuine L.A. cool while his combined celebration of classic elegance and ethnicity has an Angeleno air to it as well.
