USA- Assouline Publishing, the illustrated book publishing house behind such cutting-edge titles as Rena Sindi's Be My Guest; Theme Party Savior Faire, Chef Daniel Boulud: Cooking in New York City; Brooke De Ocampo's Bright Young Things, Lee Radzwill's Happy Times, Oscar De La Renta, The T-Shirt book, Hotel Stories, In The Spirit of the Hamptons, The Allure of Women and The Little Black Dress will release Buccellati by Vincent-Emmanuel Ragot. In 1919, Mario Buccellati, who was named the "Prince of Goldsmiths" by the poet Gabriele d'Annunzio created a fine jewelry business which has remained loyal to its origins. From the father Mario, to the son Gianmaria, to the grandson Andrea, the techniques of a bygone age have been preserved in order to give rare stones and precious materials the attention they deserve. All three have been doted with great drawing skills. In a hundred year old tradition, the Buccellati style is that of fine jewelry that crosses an intangible line to become a work of art: unique pieces that seem to have come straight out of the Middle Ages or the Renaissance. Gold lace, showers of rare stones, the mysterious shimmer of precious metals: these are the results of almost two hundred years of artistic creation and the affirmation of a timeless style and a unique expertise.

Vincent-Emmanuel Ragot holds degrees in law and art history. He is a specialist in ancient jewelry and Asian art. He began his career working at auction houses in China and Korea.
